I have some general questions about food processors and electric mixers.
1. Can you use a food processor (or blender) to cream butter/sugar or beat eggs (e.g. when you're making cookies? Do you need a particular type of food processor blade/attachment?
2. I've seen some electric mixers that offer shredder attachments. How do these compare to using a food processor to shred?
3. Which works better for kneading bread - food processors or electric mixers?
Also, feel free to suggest what you think are the best brands of food processors and mixers in your answers. I'm all ears!
