I just spent 15-20 minutes thumbing thru a brand new book, "The Food Lovers Guide To Florence" by Emily Wise Miller. I was very impressed with the scope and breadth of the book. She profiles 20-30 restaurants in various prices ranges and a wide assortment of bars, cafes, markets, wine bars, gelaterias, bakeries, etc., etc. There are also chapters on the cuisine and wines of Tuscany as well as a brief survey of the Tuscan countryside. Very much worth a look.
