A netpal of mine had a baby Tuesday, and they sent her home the same day -- to her six-year-old and toddler (how inhuman! I read once that back when hospital deliveries became the norm, women looked forward to spending the then-standard 10 days in the hospital because that was the only time they got any break from taking care of their kids).
Anyway, I wanted to send her a care package -- something than might make life a little easier for her over the next few days.
Any suggestions/recommendations? She lives in Virginia, if that makes any difference (i.e., I probably won't send her a ham!).
