Restaurants & Bars 2

Food at the bar

Abner | Jun 12, 2004 04:39 PM

Going to be in town for a convention in a few weeks, staying at the Hilton Riverside. I have to work and won't be out to all hours.

What places within walking distance (which for me would mean anywhere in the CBD, FQ or warehouse districts) have a good bar situation where I can come in, sit down, read my stuff for the next day, eat quickly and get out?

Is Cobalt an option? Never been.

I love Mr. B's but I think it would be too loud for a working dinner. Same for the Palace Cafe.

Rib Room would probably let me read in peace but I'm looking for something more in Cuisine.

Remoulade?

Grill Room? Always thought it was a bad value.

Other options?
