So Where Did Folks Go for Mother's Day?

Just wondering if there were any exceptional Mother's Days meals out there (or exceptionally bad, for that matter).

We went to Gran Gusto (second time in the past few days for me) for a late Mother's Day lunch. And once again, it was tremendous from start to finish. The insalata di campo salad (mixed greens and cherry tomatoes) was as fresh as could be, and the dressing was very nice. The entries--a margherita pizza, quattro stagioni pizza, and tagliatelle alla bolognese entree--were all delicious. The pasta with the tagliatelle alla bolognese dish was tasty, though perhaps just notch under the pasta I've had at the Pasta Market in Malden (probably my favorite place for pasta), but the bolognese sauce made the dish, with lots of crumbly chunks of beef in a near-perfect red sauce (the sauce is actually cooked in the wood-fired oven there, giving it a bit of extra richness). For dessert, we had a napoleon, which was pretty sinful and very tasty, though I think I like the tiramisu there better.

So now I'm happily bloated but nearly comatose and getting ready to retire to the couch for the next few days. Where did others go? Anyplace really good?
