Folks are Coming - Please Help

My parents are returning from a trip abroad via NY and staying with me for two nights. They both are adventerous eaters and I'm looking to make reservations (and running out of time).

My mom prefers smaller dishes (tapas, sushi, tasting menus, etc...) to a traditional "appetizer, main plate, dessert"-style restaurant. She has greatly enjoyed Nobu, Bolo, Alain Ducasse, etc...

I have reservations at the following places: Babbo, Casa Mono, and Veritas (due to the fabulous wine selection). I need to choose two places. I am definitely doing Casa Mono because I think they'd love it and because they do lunch (which my parents prefer). I'm trying to decide between Babbo and Veritas (leaning towards Babbo), but am open to other ideas (especially if they would have a lunch available instead of dinner only)

Any help is appreciated - thanks
