Flushing Mall

I finally went to the Flsuhing Mall this past sunday. Just walking around looking at all the choices in the food court made me so hungry. I thought, if the food is good, this is a great place to come sample so many different types of asian food. Unfortunetely, I thought the food was decent at best. I had the har kow (shrimp dumplings) and shrimp rice roll from one place. These were the highlight, though not as good as any of the dim sum places I've been to. We also had an order of fried dumplings and soup dumplings. Both were poor. The fried dumpling skin was tough, and the meat had little flavoring. I was looking forward to the soup dumplings, but they were terrible. First, I think they were overcooked since there was barely any liquid left. Second, the filling was terrible. No flavor at all.

Has anybody had anything really good from the Mall?
