When traveling to Mexico I have often had tortillas served with a simple combination of very hot peppers floating in - I believe - lime juice. Does anyone know, is that all it is? The only ingredients? Part of me thinks it is not lime juice, but oil, but most of my brain disagrees with this. It is wonderful and so simple, and I always tell myself I will make and serve this to guests at home. The peppers add their heat to the liquid as it sits. Can anyone help? I'd so appreciate it.
