Have a business dinner with someone from Atlanta on Thursday, and we want to go out for fish. He is a big chow and wants to experience the best Boston has to offer (so it doesn't have to be most expensive, but really outstanding). No Legal Seafood (something a little different). Want something South End/Back Bay if possible, but will go downtown if needed. I was thinking the Sashimi Bar at Clio (simply because I wanted to try it), but they don't take reservations and I don't want to chance it. Turner Fisheries? Surely there has to be something great out there that isn't attached to a hotel! The second part of the evening has to do with dessert. We don't necessarily have to have dessert at the same place, but it does need to be walking distance (cold and snowy outside). Again, really fabulous, please (when we were most recently out, he was eating his ice cream saying "I think they used...confectioner's sugar here...I have to try that").
