This is a newer Irish BBQ joint located where Cuginos was on Main Street in Newington.
The place is re-done and the decor suits it for an Irish pub w/ BBQ. It was a bit on the early side (6pm) when we got there. A couple of people were at the bar and maybe 5 tables were filled. There's plenty of tables and booths in the large space. I heard there's a patio too (in the back) and I'll have to check it out in warmer weather.

I had the beef brisket sammy (it comes on a pretzel roll which neither added nor detracted from the deliciousness of the meat). Oh the meat. It was lean (which I love) and a bit dry (which goes with lean, so not an issue for me) and I added some of the non-spicy sauce that was on the table. Seriously, my dining companions haven't seen me that quiet in a long time...I was so enchanted with my dinner. Sandwiches come with a choice of side (mashed taters, cole slaw, fries and other options were available). I went with the waffle fries which were fine but I'm not a huge fan of their shape. I also had a nice, big Guinness (and you can't go wrong there, right?). Yum.
Mom had a wicked strong vodka and cranberry and ordered the Irish Reuben with corned beef. She really liked it although she was lamenting that it had cole slaw on it rather than sauerkraut...strangely she loved that there was Irish Cheddar rather than Swiss....regardless she really liked it.
My SO got a double burger (the singles are only 4oz) and she really dug it. She didn't say anything specific about it so I can't tell you what she dug but she orders burgers pretty much everywhere (even at an Irish BBQ joint, what a weirdo!).

Anyway, service was decent, drinks good, food good....I will most certainly be back. The menu (which I can't find online) was interesting and had a lot to offer.

Oh, lastly...good prices. 3 sammies, 2 beers and a cocktail for $44 (not including tip).
