Where to find pate and terrine in Vancouver?

Question

I'm looking for really good meat pate or terrines the kind you find at the local french deli/butcher stores in France. Are there any out there other than Granville Island?

I only started very casually trying to notice the presence of non-packaged pates/terrines in meat shops. The reason is I'm getting into the habit of making Vietnamese banh mi at home and I find the Vietnamese style I buy (at Kim Chau Deli, for example) is way too livery and lacking any spices and other non-liver meats. So it's back to country pate but I don't want to buy supermarket packaged pates.

The new butcher/meat store on E. Broadway, Harkness & Co., has pates. They also have rillettes.

Save On Meats on Hastings .... I wonder if they have.

Benton Bros. Fine Cheese (Kerrisdale) should have it, because I bought some from their Cambie store before it closed. I've never been into the Kerrisdale store.

You might find pates/terrines in more cheese shops than you will in butcher shops, but if you are specifically seeking pates/terrines made by the butcher shops themselves, I suspect your options will narrow considerably.

Other options I've not checked out are places like Meinhardt, Whole Foods and the new Loblaws at Steveston Hwy/#5 Road and on Lonsdale Ave, which has been praised by many as having a very respectable deli section.

D-Original's retail outlet in Steveston carries half a dozen different spreads and pates, according to their product list. Haven't tried the pates myself, but I do know that all of the other products that I have tried from them are top notch.
