Finally tried Kohinoor in Yorktown

I went to Kohinoor in Yorktown, mohegan Lake to be exact, off of Rt6. I thought it was a little pricey but great! I had the Hydrabadi chicken which had the perfect amount of spice, I eat hot hot hot food so it might too spicy for some, and the other spices were in perfect harmony. While it was flavorful, it wasn't heavy - which is good.

The other dish I had was paneer something (sorry forgot the name) but was basically paneer with tomatoes and peppers. It was good but not as good as the chicken.

The only drawback is the basmati rice that comes with the meal. It wasn't plain basmati rice but rather basmati rice with raisin and almonds. It was a bit sweet and I happen to hate raisins in all food (although I like raisins).

They had a good crowd but it could be better so please go so that it doesn't close!
