Finally, great rotisserie chicken in the north-west valley!

Sevan Rotisserie Chicken recently opened in the old KFC spot on the north-west corner of Devonshire and Mason in Chatsworth. I went tonight and had a delicious chicken dinner. The skin was nice and crispy. They give you a choice of sauces; BBQ, Zankou-type garlic paste, and salsa. I tried both the salsa and the garlic paste (I had to pay extra for the second sauce, but I didn't mind). The salsa was surprisingly good with a nice kick. The garlic paste was delicious, but I don't think it was as flavorful as Zankou's.

It came with pita bread and a choice of 2 sides. I ordered the rice and hummus. Their hummus was OK. I liked the rice a lot, but I'm trying to lose weight and it seemed like it was cooked in oil.

Sevan also has falafels, kabobs, stuffed grape leaves, etc. I think I'll be eating here a lot :)
