The place is on 1st Avenue between 13th and 14th. I've been back every other day for almost a month, and I haven't tired of their sicilian slices yet! Their regular slices are also a good example of NJ style slices, but it's the sicilian that rocks. They have some pasta entrees, but why? They also have 1$ 'while you wait' draght beer that hits the spot as well as beer and wine. Finally. Oy yea, the italian ice outside hits the spot, too. As good as those roadside places in NJ with the little chunks of lemon in them!
I haven't checked out Cafe Centosett's new pizza joint on 10th and 2nd avenue. Fancy oven, tho! There's also a pizza shop opening (opened?) on 12th between 1st and 2nd. Perhaps this is the long needed pizza renaissance in the East Village? [no direspect to pie on 4th Ave, which I like, but is that 'Pizza'?]
