Watana opened on Friday, after much anticipation. It's a small wood-accented Thai jewel-box of a place, with about 30 seats.
My boyfriend & I tried some of the staples - spring rolls (crisp, hot, not greasy, loaded with veggies, non-cloying sweet-sour sauce), chicken satay (tender, moist, excellent spicy peanut sauce), tofu pad thai (crisp bean sprouts, no grease, excellent grilled flavor), and panang chicken curry (builds-up-to-a-crescendo spicy, moist & tender, delicious).
Prices are about what we pay at Song and the ambience is FAR more conversation-conducive.
