Finally found Butter Pretz

Peter Cuce | Mar 24, 200407:34 PM

For a couple of years I've been bemoaning the disappearance of Butter Pretz, my favorite flavor, from Japanese groceries around the New York area. Then, when I went to Tokyo, I didn't see it either and figured that Glico had stopped making it.
Today, whilst checking out a new Chinese Supermarket in Brooklyn Chinatown (61st between 7th and 8th, close to the MIni Shabu Shabu), I saw that they carried Butter Pretz and two other flavors I've never seen, all manufactured in China and imported here. The prices were great too, four double boxes of Pretz and some chestnut snacks for $3.
They also have Trung Nguyen coffee, a Vietnamese brand talked about on some board or other in the past week. Now if only I could find the Larb Pretz that Eric Eto gave me a couple of weeks ago.
