FINALLY!! Beautiful Japanese food in Lincoln Square!

Since moving here 5 months ago, I have been searching high and low for decent sushi in Lincoln Square and Uptown. I have tried at least ten places. The best spot I found was Tanoshii which was nice, but wasn't what I was looking for. I hear you need to go and have "Sushi Mike" take care of you, but I just did delivery. MIKU opened up in the old Tank/Laughing Bird space by Sunnyside on Lincoln and it has answered my prayers. We went in for a quick lunch today and were really impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the craftsmanship. I ordered two basic maki rolls for $10 and my husband got the spicy roasted garlic miso ramen. Everything was delicious, balanced and elegant. We weren't planning on getting dessert because we're going to Elizabeth tonight, but couldn't say no to the cookie dough egg rolls. I don't understand why I've never had these before. I will definitely be back to try their small plates and skewers!

Also of note, we had our baby with stroller in tow and they were very accommodating. It has plenty of open space and a great place for families.
