I hate to be a constant naysayer and critic -- the role is not much fun -- but I believe so many Mpls. restaurants get away with murder (see the Belle Vie posts above) because customers tend to be forgiving. In consequence, there is not much incentive to get things right. I criticize not for the amusement of doing so, but in the hope of contributing to a critical groundswell that will actually make a difference down the road.
