I've seen the recent postings about Tony's grill in Stafford and was finally able to give it a try on Saturday night. We thought the food was pretty good; my fiance (who is Filipino) had the blood soup, which he likes a lot. I had the goat, cooked with some peppers and onions; in retrospect, I think I would have liked the goat with the sauce much better. The owners were incredibly nice to us; offering to make some changes to dishes I wanted to try but couldn't due to some dietary restrictions.
They also asked us how we found the place and we mentioned this board; they had the printouts of one of the post and said they couldn't believe how quickly the word had spread about their little place. We also heard that some of you guys were actually planning to go there on Saturday but that it got too late.
I'd also like to ask if anybody has been to Gold Ribbon, out on Holcombe? They usually have a buffet and a good variety of Filipino items. My fiance thinks they have the best flan!
