I want a really really chocolately piece of cake! Most dessert shops have this old, previously frozen, dried up stuff (that they sell for $5 a slice!). I'm almost tempted to make a cake but then I will eat 9/10 of a cake and not just one slice. I want old fashioned, homemade cake with fluffy, not too intense or ganachey icing, cake must be moist and fresh and really richly chocolatey. Any suggestions in SF? Blue Jay Cafe on Divis has typically great chocolate cake, but they usually only have it a few days a week so I can't count on them for today. Help me, I've got the fever!
