ferry building lazy monday

baker | Jan 6, 200408:34 PM

checked out delicata- nice clean space and tasty looking food- I only tried one fried crab croquette but I could have eaten 15- perfectly fried crispy on the outside soft and creamy on the inside and it wasn't even still warm (which would have been better of course)- the seaweed salad looked great too with seaweed, mizuna, dry toasted and cooked fresh soybeans- but the fried croquettes are what I'll go back for

then lunch at marketbar- veal stew was perfect that day- my second lunch there and still solid after a good lunch a month ago- my dining companion had the bourride which was also very good

then a double espresso of blue bottle coffee from frog hollow- I don't really know what to make of that space but they have the coffee thing going on- thickest crema I've ever seen with my sugar cube taking at least five seconds to start sinking through

I'd would recommend skipping peet's if you're an espresso drinker and head over to frog hollow for you fix
