Ferndale Meat Co.'s new landlord is . . . the Mayor of Flavortown

Melanie Wong | Feb 15, 202107:36 PM

The publisher of the _Ferndale Enterprise_ created his own news when he texted Guy Fieri that the historic 1903 building housing Ferndale Meat Company was for sale. Fieri bought it the next day.

"Fieri emphasized that nothing is going to change at 376 Main Street.

Butcher Curt Terribilini has owned the Ferndale Meat Company business since 2001 and Fieri said Ferndale is lucky to have him.

'Curt’s a great guy and what a service he does to the community,' said Fieri, who helped raise more than $20 million in under two months for the newly-created Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, aimed at helping those in the restaurant industry hit hard by the pandemic. 'He’s an easy going cat. And I just want him to keep doing it.'

Fieri touted the services the butcher does for the community, such as processing hunters’ meat and 4-H and FFA projects."
