i'm planning on barbecuing some fish over fennel fronds tonight. i'm also planning on barbecuing the fennel bulbs, but i'm not exactly sure what the best method is. should i briefly nuke first? if so, how long for good sized bulbs? should i place the bulbs in tin foil once on the grill? halve? quarter? aside from some salt & pepper and perhaps a little olive oil, any other suggested seasonings? anything else i need to know?
