Last year on Father's Day, we went to dinner at Malibu Grill (yeah, yeah, I know, Fogo is better, Green Fields is better, but Malibu is just up the road) and found that they had a special Father's Day menu. This was their standard all-you-can-stand meal for $3 more than the regular Sunday price. No extras like beverages or dessert, no special meats, vegetables, or salads, just like normal.
I read this year that the greeting card industry is trying to make Father's Day as commercial as Mother's Day. Can I expect a Father's Day ripoff again this year when we go to dinner on Sunday? Are they all doing it now?
