Farmington, ME nice selection for small downtown

Having lived away for many years now, coming back to Farmington I was concerned about the restaurant selection. But we are very fortunate to have a really great offering for a small downtown. Homestead Bakery offers a very nice selection of American and other worldly cuisines for 3 meals per day, Wicked Gelato is a wonderful place to socialize and have a panini and soup and of course gelato. Soup for You has a fantastic selection of sandwiches and soups and the Thai Smile has delicious thai food and sushi. Farmington House of Pizza and Arkay have terrific pizza, calzones, salads, and sandwiches and then there are pubs with traditional pub food, and BBQ on the outskirts of town at Grant Lees. Java Joe's has a great vibe and is a terrific place for a bagel and coffee. So much to offer for a small town!

Farmington, Maine has a lot to offer and these restaurants the folks that work there are all really fantastic.
