Around this time of the year, a lot of your fast food joints tout their fish sandwiches or seafood items for those who choose to abstain from meat on Fridays for Lent. I happen to be one of those Lenten observers so I am always keen on trying out these fish sandwiches/items that are normally not on the regular menu outside of Lent.
A poster below pointed me to Farmer Boy's for their fish burrito. I am a fan of FB's fish and chips, and so I thought the fish burrito would not be too far off. The burrito is a made with a reddish/orange chipotle tortilla and is filled with cabbage, onions, cilantro, guacamole, sour creme (optional) and pieces of their battered fish. The fish is the same used for their fish and chips and is of the variety where there is a crunchy batter shell around the fish itself. The serving is pretty large and I was only able to finish about 2/3s of the thing. I thought it was very good, though I will pass on the sour creme next time though. All-in-all I think I found another option for Fridays until Easter.
