This has been asked before, but I'll try getting more water from the stone...
Where do you guys/gals go when you want to take the extended family to dinner? And what do you order? I'm in lower westchester but would venture a little for the right place. For instance, nyack, new rochelle, bronx, or long island are all places I am looking into. Even pickin up and eating at home is on the table!
We've been going to Malecon in Yonkers as our go to place. We can get a couple of roasted chickens and another dish or two there and 10 us (including children) eat for under $100 easily. Of course, if we were to order some of the other things on the menu, things can get out of hand pretty quickly, but we're pretty good about it. We akso order pickup from there and it makes for a great family dinner.
We also go to cheesecake factory, ihop, gyros. But the price can't compare so none of those have supplanted our go to place.
We'd love to have more options though! So what is your family's go to place? Please share family size, what you order and average bill :) Thanks!
