Hello,
My wife, 3 year old daughter, her babysitter and myself are headed to Paris for 7 days from Austin, TX in just about a months time. I haven’t set up any reservations yet with a bit of “analysis paralysis” but know it’s getting close to crunch time and was hoping you can help me plan some of our meals both as a group as well as just out with my wife. We are pretty adventurous eaters and are just hoping for a good mix of classic, modern, ethnic and fun spots. I’m especially interested in checking out some cheese spots as I am a cheesemonger by trade.

We are staying near the Palais Royale if that is helpful. I’m open to any feedback and appreciate advice about our general itinerary.

Day 1
Check out area around apartment: Jardin Tulleries, Opera Garner, looking to pick up groceries to make dinner that night at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet. Hopefully coffee at Cafe Cullier or drinks on the Printemps Terrace.

Day 2
Arc de Triomphe & a walk down Champ de Ellyse - read about Honor Cafe for coffee but looking for bistro lunch rec for the entire group. Dinner date at Le Comptoir de La Gastronomie.

Day 3
Rue Cler, picnic lunch near Eiffel Tower, trocadero carousel, dinner date at Hexagone

Day 4
Sacre Couer & Montmartre, Place du Terte. Lunch reservations at Les Fables de la Fontaine for wife and I.

Day 5
Day trip to Versailles- wide open for recommendations

Day 6
Checking out the Germaine neighborhood, Maison Mulot, Jardin Luxembourg then Notre Dame. Maybe lunch at L’as du Falafel. Looking at dinner at Ellsworth

Day 7
Last Day in town, considering Euro Disney but would probably prefer to just stay in city.

Thanks so much in advance!
