We're going to Chicago in early May, and while I grew up there, I haven't lived there in years. My parents live there but aren't into eating out so they aren't much help in finding good, interesting restaurants. So here's what the situation will be. We'll have our baby with us so they have to be family friendly restaurants. We're looking at places for the three of us Tuesday through Thursday nights. One night will be for Giordano's pizza. These restaurants will need to be downtown as we're going for a conference and don't want to drive around then. Friday night will be dining out with my parents. They aren't fond of Chinese, Thai, etc. Any other type of ethnic food is ok. They don't eat steak so steak restaurants are out. In fact, they don't eat meat so restaurants that are more vegetarian than not are good. Saturday night, we're going out with our family friends as well so we'll have a group of 9 going out. Those two nights can be either in the city or in the suburbs. I'd like to mix it up as far as types of food. Any help with new (or old) interesting places is most welcome. Thanks!
