Family Friendly Italian E. 70s' Vicinity?

olympusnyc | Dec 28, 201411:02 AM

Wonder if anyone has a family friendly, affordable Italian joint they go to regularly? For us Delizia on 1st Ave, which is still perfectly fine, both the front room and the dining room, has filled that need but we are looking for a change. We did Al Forno the other that night and that seemed decent and reasonably priced. Fratelli was also good in the past but could offer a bit more in terms of ambiance. Would be nice to have a go-to place when other family members come in but a place were our 8 and 10 yo can be accommodated food-wise (plain pasta, pizza), adults can get real entrees but nicer than your local pizzeria. Thanks.
