Interesting article in May 17 issue of New York Magazine. It might surprise a lot of you to know that chicken hearts, beef tongue and fried smelts qualify for the critics' list of odd eating. Cuitlacoche also isn't terribly unusual here on the west coast (and I think it's spelled huitlacoche in our part of town). But maybe the burnt goat head doesn't raise an eyebrow back east. Still it's a fun read.
