New discovery, just opened. Chef worked in Chinatown restaurant, then opened up his own place. This is in my opinion the very best szechuan place in Chicago.
From the exotic (squirrel fish? tripe) to the traditional (a magical version of kung pao chicken) this place delivers authentic szechuan as well as items you can enjoy as just a regular old Chinese food fan. The Hot Sour soup, for example, is the best I've had. The Boiled Beef is a volcanic, steaming stew of goodness. The dan dan noodles are right up there with the best in LA. Great stuff!
