Exploring Little India West - on Venice

I used to love the Asian Kitchen but since it changed hands last year, food not so good. But Addys Tandoor and Grill (which I wonder must also be Halal, because they had Ramadan dishes) called us for a lunch snack on Saturday. I fancied soup - chicken and mushroom but it wasn't soup, it was broth with no body to it - sent it back. The real delight were the meat patties, 3 for $3.99 which were little pillows deep fried with the most utterly tasty filling, peppery, crunchy - complete delight. It was like cornish pastie met empanada in an Indian spice dance. They were really good. SO had the lunch special - channa, halewa, salad and raita - excellent. I had this idea of buying a bunch of these patties for airplane food, wonder how they would be cold.
