We hadn't been to Exodus Restaurant on Queen Mary Blvd. for several years, but we heard that it had changed hands last year. Our return visit was a disappointment. The chicken couscous arrived with chicken that had a burnt and/or unfresh smell about it. Returned the balance of the chicken after tasting it, kept the vegetables and couscous, which were good on their own, but a day long case of the runs left us suspect that the chicken was really not fresh.
The bread rolls are very ordinary, and the water served at the table in a large glass decanter was not very cold, in spite of some ice having been added.
The owner was serving us, and does not look professional at all. He was wearing baggy, sloppy jeans, and does not convey the impression of a quality restaurant.
Except for being Kosher, this restaurant still doesn't get it.
