Excellent Persian Food in Houston

I just have to rave about a place I ate at last night called Cafe Caspian. It's located on Westheimer at Gray Falls (between Kirkwood and Dairy Ashford). Everything about this restaurant is exceptional- the food, the service, the ambiance, even the prices! Everything is very fresh, aromatic, and flavorful. I had a vegetarian eggplant stew (which can also be served with chicken or beef in it), and my husband had an excellent beef dish (the name of which escapes me) which had two boneless strips of very tender, seasoned beef which just melted in my mouth. The whole meal- appetizer, two soft drinks, two entrees, and hot tea & coffee -came to about $35. If you're ever out in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend checking this place out, even if you've never tried Persian cuisine before. I promise you'll love it!
