I stopped for lunch yesterday at Bay Leaf in Sunnyvale and had the Pepes Ikan—
Balinese grilled marinated fish wrapped in banana leaf. It was totally excellent. The fish was tilapia and the complex spicing included coconut curry and lemongrass. IIRC the menu indicated the dish was mildly spicy but by American standards I would call it medium, just right for me. The fish fillet was melt-in-your-mouth tender.
