Evvia, Palo Alto - not so impressive

Cesium | Sep 5, 200304:42 PM     4

I'm a bit belated with this one, as some friends and I went to Evvia for dinner several weeks ago, but I wanted to post. Several people on the board recommended it as good mediterranian fusion food. But I was not impressed. The decor was nice and the staff typically Palo Alto swanky. But the food was so-so. I had moussaka, and it came layered in a bowl with entirely too much flavorless meat. My friend enjoyed the roast chicken, and we all liked the bread and oil/vinegar, but overall it was not good enough to justify the steep price.
