Yesterday, a colleague couldn't stop gushing about the "incredible" meal she enjoyed Wednesday night at the Standard Club. Congrats on the happy diners that are abound.

For the benefit of the board, the menu was described as:

-- Asparagus consume
-- Foie gras terrine with apples
-- Sea bass with morel mushroom risotto
-- Lamb with herb mousse and fingerling potatoes
-- Mango sorbet
-- Cherry tar-tan with Meyer lemon ice cream
-- Cheese plate
