Some of you may have seen Paul Moriarity's story on KYW (also on their web site) on Dining Discounts mentioning both Restaurant.com and iDine. He clearly implied that with Idine you register your credit card and get 15% off your bill or milage. Well you can get the mileage for free but the 15% costs money. $49.99/year. Moriarty states that they don't charge your credit card for the $49.99 but you use up your $ credits to pay for it. Simple math shows that you would need to spend over $333.00 at their yesteraunts before the 15% kicks in. So don't be confused if you think he got a bargain.
He also forgot to mention that Restaurant.com often limits use to only food and only dinner and often not on weekends. So much for truth in advertising. Restaurant.com works, so long as certs are accepted.
