Encounter at LAX

Zoe | Mar 7, 2004 12:34 AM

Meeting family on a short stopover at LAX didn't give much time for an out of the airport outing, so for the second time in a few weeks we had lunch at Encounter at LAX - the elevator ride alone is a Jetson experience and the ladies room still looks like a sixties throwback, but charming. Great parking, very comfortable chairs - terrific view of airport and one more time, good food. Last time we ate burgers but this time tried BLT (excellent, Cobb salad and ham and cheese - all pronounced very lunchable. Soup was tomato ginger. This is a pleasant rather quiet room for a lunch meeting too - at 12.30 today was only half full. Parking is free.
