After living in NYC for 10 years my husband and I are now in the Philadelphia area. It's been about a year since we've been to NY, and my tofu jones is out of control. (Philadelphia has a great restaurant scene, but I think it really takes NYC to hit those quirky cravings when they strike.)
We're coming up next month for a weekend.
I have read about EN Brasserie and the freshly made tofu, but I'd like some feedback from the board about whether it's worth it, or should I just hit one of the old standbys of my youth. Is it a gimmick? And if it's not, is tofu the only good thing on the menu? I don't want to waste any of our meals.
I searched EN on the board but I get every word that has "en" in the middle.
