Eleven Madison Park Lunch vs Dinner Part 2

I know there was another thread on this but I wanted to ask a more detailed question.

I'm planning on taking my fiancee here and we are the types that when you go all out, you go all out food wise. So we'd usually do the tasting menu and dessert. Sometimes wine depending on our mood.

My question is I've heard that between lunch and dinner that they are almost exactly the same. So is it worth the extra $80 to go to dinner rather than lunch? I've read the only difference was there are less amusings for lunch than dinner? How much less? Does the tasting menu still get the same number of plates for lunch and dinner? Are the portions the same as well?

Also I read somewhere that there was a secret 16 course menu that lasts 7 hours but when I called they knew nothing about it. Does the regular tasting menu last about 4 hours?
