El Pollo Supremo in San Mateo

tofu_ted | Nov 4, 200405:31 AM     4

Just visited this brand new restaurant located at 901 South B street(just down the street from Santa Sushi). Had the Whole grilled chicken, corn on the cob, Spanish rice, and onion rings. The chicken was very flavorful, but a little dry; the Spanish rice was excellent, as were the onion rings; the corn on the cob was not good; the chicken came with corn torillas and salsa, both very good. On the whole it was a very satisfying dining experience. We wanted chicken and this meal satiated that need quite nicely. There are quite a few interesting sides to order as well as all the seafood entrees. Definitely going back to do more research.
