El Farallon, Cabo San Lucas - new restaurant that is "a magical experience"

BBY | Jan 12, 201005:45 PM

There is a new restaurant in Cabo San Lucas that should not be missed. We ate there Friday evening and were told that the restaurant had been open for 18 days. The entire experience is "magical" (the food is terrific, too!) The restaurant is on a patio built into the rocks along the Pacific Ocean. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance to the hotel at the end of a torch-lit tunnel. A hotel employee will escort you to the restaurant perched on a cliff at the sea. The waves were crashing on the beach and rocks in this open air setting. This is primarily a seafood restaurant, but steak and vegetarian options are available. The fish as a main course is priced by the pound and the appetizers and sides are included. We selected Blue Fin Tuna and Dorado as our main courses. The food is fresh and creative with interesting sauces and Mexican influences. The service was surprisingly good for a new restaurant. We enjoyed the entire experience!!
