I had a surprisingly good late lunch here yesterday. It's the 2nd time that I've been. The 1st time, I wasn't crazy about the food but, the relaxing old California vibe brought me back.

This time, we tried some seafood which apparently is the Chef's forte. They had several fish specials listed on a chalkboard in the enterance and had a regular Saturday lunch special of seafood fajitas.

My and I shared the seafood fajitas and a carne asada torta. The seafood fajitas consisted of 1 large shrimp which could have had more pop and flavor, 1 tasty sea scallop and 3 differnet pieces of tasty fish. The carne asada torta was good except for the carne asada itself. I don't think that they do beef very well here based on my torta and my previous visit when I belive that I had a carne asada plate.

We'll definately be returning for the seafood fajitas or other seafood specials.
