Egyptian Food in Twin Cities

Josh Resnik | Jan 9, 2003 07:02 PM

On a recent cab ride home from the airport I struck up a conversation about food with a cab driver who is from Egypt. He recommended a couple Egyptian restaurants in the area, and I wanted to see if any local chowhounders had been to either.

One was called Olive Tree on Central Avenue in Columbia Heights. The other was in Eagan, but I didn't catch the name. Has anyone been to Olive Tree in Columbia Heights, or an Egyptian restaurant in Eagan? If so, was it any good, and what would you recommend ordering?
