Is there any reason to be wary of a mayo based salad that has been stored in the refrigerator? More to the point, would / do you make any of the above mentioned salads beforehand and leave in the refrigerator for a day or so?
My husband will not make any type of mayo based salad beforehand and will not keep it in the fridge overnight. I have never had a problem making a salad, having half for lunch today and half tomorrow or the next.
Any health risks when it is stored in a properly functioning fridge?
