Eden Cafe (DFW)

Hi there! Just tried a place called Eden Cafe over on Lovers just west of the tollway and OMG!!! So wonderful!! The atmosphere is fun and quaint with antiques and hand painted chairs. The owner/chef's personal touches are felt throughout. It is BYOB so bring your Champagne and they have the OJ. I had a loveley brie en croute to start that was to die for, followed by a yummy tomato basil soup. (Soups as with much of the menu are seaonal) They always have several quiche of the day. My friends and I tried broccoli cheese and the red pepper and onion, both wonderful! Not too mushy and the perfect amount of crust. There are also daily cobblers of all varieties. Yesterday we tried the Three Berry which consisted of Blackberry, Strawberry, and Blueberry, and the Strawberry Mango. Both were excellent and served A la Mode of course!! The perfect way to finish off the perfect lunch! It was very enjoyable and I will most definately go back. I look forward to trying something different next time I go as they have quite a large menu but it will be difficult not to order the exact same thing! I am also thinking of having them cater my next event. :) 5 *****s! Delish!
