Standard Bakery

Great chewy rich chocolate chocolate chip cookies!!! A cinnamon and walnut roll was also excellent, flakey, slightly brittle and delicious, wispy dough. Blueberries were great in the blueberry oat scone, but the texture of the scone was weak, slightly stiff, without much crumble. Butter rich shortbread-like thingy (sorry forgot name) filled with raspberry jam was very good.

J's Oyster

Simple and good lobster and crab rolls, fresh and fairly generous. Mayo on the side in a packet, which I prefer to have it mixed it. Rolls could be toasted a little more perhaps, but I'm being picky. Sweet service, if a little slow.

Benkay Sushi

Some of the best sushi I've had in New England. Very good fish, nice flavours, fresh and good textures on the whole. Black bass nigiri was my favourite of the evening. Good oceany uni. Some minor flaws: sushi chef is heavy handed on wasabi, frequently adding a bit too much, especially with the more delicate fish, like snapper/tai, a corner of hamachi turned out a little sinewy, nothing serious or bad, just a tiny imperfection.
