Eateries at the Grove

I know that huge, Disney-fied shopping malls are not meant to be meccas of fine cuisine, but I am repeatedly astounded, either via first hand experience or reports from co-workers (I work on the premises), how consistenly and universally bad the food is at The Grove. If I think of the Glendale Galleria, Century City, SCP in OC, even the Beverly Center, there is always at least a couple of decent choices for food. Farmer's Market aside, this does not seem to be the case here.

A quick list:

Morel's---one lukewarm opinion, two negative
Marmalade Cafe---two negative opinions.
The Farm---one good, two negative

Wood Ranch Grill---Arby's at 5 times the price.
Madame Wu's---Hands down the worst Chinese food I have
ever had the misfortune of coming across. Maybe hands down worst food period.
Corner Bakery---boring, bland sandwiches/salads
Maggiano's---bad mass-produced Italian food, anyone?
Whisper Cafe---New joint, a month old. Pretty bad food,
horrendous service.

So what gives? I know this list is not complete. Am I missing something? Are the "second hand" places worth giving a try?
